Dr. Kenneth Kaplove

Dr. Kaplove graduated cum laude from University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Religious Thought, and received his medical degree at Hahnemann Medical School. He started his neurology residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in New York City and did his Chief Residency at University Hospital of Cleveland. Dr. Kaplove did a three year fellowship in neurobiology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in NY and studied how impulse activity affects gene expression in muscle and also did a neuromuscular fellowship at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. Dr. Kaplove has a wide interest in neurology and has particular clinical interest in headache, multiple sclerosis, nerve and muscle disease and EMG. Dr. Kaplove has been selected as "Top Doc" seven years in a row. Dr. Kaplove is also Chief of Neurology at Waterbury Hospital.

Dr. Pooia Fattahi

Dr. Fattahi is a board certified neurologist practicing at Waterbury Neurology. He initially trained in Optometry and then in Biomedical Engineering at Wright State University. After completing his Doctorate of Medicine training at Wright State University School of Medicine, he completed his Internship in Medicine, at University of Cincinnati Jewish Hospital. He then trained at Yale University School of Medicine for his Neurology residency. He completed a Fellowship in Neuro-immunology and Neurophysiology at Yale-New Haven Hospital and West Haven Veteran Affairs Hospital. His clinical interest includes comprehensive neurology, multiple sclerosis, neuro-ophthalmology, neurophysiology (Electromyography, Nerve Conduction Study, EEG, Visual Evoked Potential), neuromuscular disease and Botox treatment. He is a member of American Academy of Neurology, American Medical Association and Prevent Blindness of America. He provides care at Waterbury Hospital, St Mary's Hospital, Griffin Hospital, Bridgeport Hospital and West Haven Veterans Affairs Hospital. He is a Clinical Instructor in Neurology at Yale University School of Medicine..

Dr. Katherine Kedzierski

Dr. Kedzierski finished her medical school and internship training at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She went on to pursue her Neurology residency at Yale University School of Medicine and has completed a fellowship in Neuromuscular Medicine at the University of Connecticut. She is board certified in Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology. Her interests include general neurology, EMG, headache medicine, and muscle and nerve disease.

Dr. David Tkeshelashvili

Dr. David Tkeshelashvili or Dr. "T" as all the patients and staff call him, did his medical internship at Emory University School of Medicine and his Neurology Residency at Yale University School of Medicine. After completing his neurology residency training, Dr. T did his clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy fellowships at Yale University School of Medicine. He joined Dr. Kaplove and formed Waterbury Neurology, LLC. Dr.T's expertise and clinical interest include neurophysiology, epilepsy, EEG and EMG.

Our Physician Assistants

Sabra Becker, PA-C

Sabra graduated summa cum laude from Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science degree and also earned her Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Springfield College. She has a background in Internal Medicine in which she previously worked for the Waterbury Hospital Hospitalist Program as a Physician Assistant for 7 years before joining Waterbury Neurology, LLC. She also has medical experience in the field of Emergency Medical Services in which she volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician for 14 years. Outside of the office, Sabra enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her husband and family.

Jonica Pagnucco, PA-C

Jonica Pagnucco is a certified physician assistant. She was born and raised in Waterbury, CT and attended Holy Cross High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., and a master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of New England in Portland, Maine. Prior to joining Waterbury Neurology in September 2014, she worked as the admitting PA for the Hospitalist Service at Waterbury Hospital for over 7 years. In her spare time she enjoys jogging and cooking. She lives in Southington with her husband and their two children.
